History of Network Marketing in Bangladesh is not very sound. The number of network businesses in Bangladesh is not small. In 1998, Mr. Narayan Das, a Sri Lankan descent, came to poverty-stricken Bangladesh through Canada and started a multi-level marketing (MLM) business. He came to Bangladesh and started practicing MLM named GGN or Global Guardian Network Company. Later the company broke up and were born two more companies named Newway Private Bangladesh Ltd. and Destiny-2000 Ltd. After this, extensive activities of this system started in Bangladesh. Millions of young people, employees, students, teachers, officers of various organizations were involved in this business part time and full time. This business later spread all over the country. The transaction is worth crores of taka. But soon after, Destiny-2000's business collapsed. Because there were many problems in it, they have no its own product, low quality products were bought from others. Main reason was the system, it was so immature that the marginal level distributors did not receive their dividends timely. Later, by showing illusory objects/ tree greed/ air travel business, etc., he swindled several thousand crores of taka. This is the only one, such as Uni Pay to You, Jubok, M-Way, Swadhin Online (Public) Ltd., Life Way Bangladesh (Private) Ltd., Ehsan Group has made millions of people bankrupt. After all these incidents, the Multi-Level Marketing Activities (Control) Act, 2013 was enacted by the Government of Bangladesh in 2013. But its proper implementation has not been done in Bangladesh yet.

In 2005 Tianshi a subsidiary company of Tiens Group of China started their business in Bangladesh named Tianshi (Bangladesh) Co. Ltd,. Its business was in 96 countries till 2005 and factories were in 19 countries. Today, in 2022, the organization spread its business across more than 190 countries and territories worldwide, with offices in 110 countries, and factories in 22 countries. After starting their journey in Bangladesh, our successors have come to Dhaka from different parts of the country with hard work and have received training day after day. Their fooding & lodging in Dhaka was not pleasant for them at all. Over 90% of the participants had left the business by facing those obstacles. Those who have survived to this day have established themselves like a great industrialists. But now without any obstacle we have those opportunities to do seminar-training-workshop and communication in the district towns.

So, the number of distributors increased geomatrically. No other Network Marketing company competate with Tianshi (Bangladesh) Co. Ltd.

Finally The ICON Enterprise as a distributor of TIENS Group also started individually its business as a sister concern in 2022. Any distributor can do this if he/she think that they capable to handle all its requirments.
